At Box Hill School we constantly strive to produce well-rounded young people, capable of communicating with confidence in an adult world. With this in mind, activities focus on encouraging teamwork, developing skills and interests, helping to develop an empathy with and interest in the outdoors and providing opportunities in both team and individual sports and activities. Virtually anything is possible. Almost every afternoon our students have a compulsory time set aside for activities and we have an amazing variety of options available, from sports to Round Square to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme…the choice is theirs!

 

We believe that being outside the classroom is an important part of education. One week’s activities might include the following to choose from: swimming, tennis, climbing, rocket club, photography, art, design technology, drama and music rehearsals, debating and public speaking…and not forgetting the school’s Fire Service!
